And I'm not excited at all... Yeah right :)

Friday is my last day of work for 6 weeks, who wouldn't be excited by that alone, let alone 5 weeks travelling around Thailand, Cambodia and Laos!

Sorted out all my money today, got a Visa cash passport http://www.cashpassportcard.com/. Have loaded that, will have my regular bank atm card and a credit card as a back up. Also have some USD cash and Baht to see me over once I get to Thailand. It's all very exciting.

Am spending more and more time looking for info on the net, and pouring over my guidebook deciding whether to just copy the info out of it that I want, or to just take the damn book (kinda decided on taking the damn book, weigh 700g though, unreal!!).

And packing. I'm packing crazy (although I'm sure that wouldn't surprise some of you at all!!). I've packed, unpacked and repacked about 3 times since last Thursday (22nd). It's starting weight was 7kgs, but last night I got it down to just under 5kg, so I was impressed with that. Can't believe how much room I have in it though, oh well, I'll just HAVE to go shopping won't I :)
Also sorted out my leave and pay today with work, will get a nice little payment, much more than I worked out myself. Love our accountant, I think I had her a bit stressed out for a bit there :)

Now the only thing left to do (apart from printing of my postie labels, how anal is that!) is to relax and wait for Monday. And of course have fun at my b'day celebrations over the weekend!

And thanks to all of you who I have driven nuts with my questions and incessant planning, testing and talking non-stop. I'm sure you don't care that I found the coolest bungalow on some random island in Thailand where I could stay for $200AUS a month, but thank you for being patient with me and not ruining my fun (even if you were thinking inside "Shut UP!!!!").Roll on Monday!
